Reflection on providing unbiased care.

Post on by

Homeopathy for me is a vocation. As a vocation it is more of a calling as opposed to a job or career. I feel very strongly that health should not be limited to those of stature or certain walks of life but should be available for all those in need. As a business woman, I understand the need to make an income as well. With these two components together, I have been able to provide care for those who otherwise could not afford to pay for a homeopath. Each case is assessed individually and for some individuals I will accept a partial payment and for others I will do pro-bono. I believe each case will provide me with more knowledge and skill as a homeopath regardless of the money.
In aphorism one of the Organon, Hahnemann says “The physician’s high and only mission is to restore the sick to health, to cure, as it is termed.” One can only do this by providing unbiased care to each individual. As a homeopath, I listen and observe all that I can gather from the case with an open heart and a sincere desire to help the individual.
